When you give to the Chazen Museum of Art, you enable generations of UW–Madison students and community members to experience the transformative power of the arts. With your support, the museum continues to stay open seven days a week and offer free admission to the more than 180,000 visitors that pass through our doors each year.
The Chazen is integral to UW–Madison’s teaching mission, providing out-of-classroom learning opportunities including special tours, customized class visits, online resources, and assistance with curriculum development. With Wisconsin’s second-largest collection of art, the Chazen provides students access to its 25,000 objects representing diverse historical periods, cultures, and geographic locations.
Your generosity allows us to offer free public programming and enriching experiences for thousands of community members and K–12 students throughout the year, from curator conversations to family-friendly art activities to guided gallery tours, embodying the Wisconsin Idea by ensuring our rich collections and exhibitions are accessible to everyone throughout the state.
