At the Department of Astronomy, our mission is to conduct cutting-edge research and to offer undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdocs the highest quality of education. We conduct research in diverse areas of astronomy, including exoplanets, the origins of life, and the earliest galaxies discovered by the James Webb Space Telescope.
