Economics Challenge

Challenge
Met

Thanks to Andrew Finn & Jamie Farnsworth Finn, plus a generous anonymous donor, if the Department of Economics receives 50 gifts during Day of the Badger, $25,000 will be unlocked.

This challenge has ended.

As demand for the economics major continues to grow, it is your support that helps us meet the needs of our 1,800 undergraduate students. Your gifts fuel the exciting innovations that continue to propel the Department of Economics to the top of the rankings!

We are an intellectually rigorous department with faculty who are world-renowned for their research expertise, and also for their high-caliber teaching and mentorship. Your gifts allow us to attract and retain top faculty who will continue our tradition of excellence.

In addition, our graduate students conduct research, teach, and inspire undergraduates, often creating a valuable bridge between professors and students. Talented graduate students are in high demand, and other institutions use generous aid packages to attract them. Graduate fellowships help us recruit and retain these outstanding scholars.

Every donation counts

Your donation of any amount will make an impact and help us reach the 50 donors we need to unlock $25,000 from our generous donors Andrew Finn & Jamie Farnsworth Finn, as well as an anonymous donor! Your contribution plays a crucial role in sustaining the quality of education and research initiatives that define our department – join us in making a difference today!
