Fathers in Focus, a free annual conference hosted by UW–Madison Extension, brings together fathers, mentors, coaches, and allies from across Wisconsin to learn, support one another, and build stronger families and communities. We welcome hundreds of attendees who participate in sessions and panels featuring fatherhood mentors, helping dads develop essential parenting skills and social networks.
Your support helps us keep the event accessible for all and reduce financial barriers, expand program offerings, enhance speaker diversity and quality, and foster community and peer support. Your gift will also help fathers by supporting other virtual and in-person events throughout the year.
Following a successful 2024 launch and 2025 event that engaged hundreds of dads, interest is on the rise. Fathers face multiple, complex challenges from co‑parenting conflicts and financial pressures to mental health struggles and justice‑related hurdles. Dads need targeted skills and resources. Your contribution equips them to meet these challenges head-on.
