Thanks to Prof. Louise Robbins and an anonymous donor, your gift will help unlock a $5,000 challenge gift once 40 gifts are made to support the Information School on Day of the Badger.

This challenge has ended.

The Information School (iSchool) at the University of Wisconsin–Madison is a national leader in preparing talented students to thrive as information professionals at the intersection of technology and humanity.

Our history dates back more than 100 years to when the Wisconsin Library School became part of the university, and our library and information studies degree continues to thrive. As a founding department of the School of Computer, Data & Information Sciences, the iSchool trains innovative information professionals across a diverse array of degree programs exploring the complex interactions between people, data, and technology.

The iSchool is deeply committed to education and research that expands society’s understanding of the role of information in all aspects of science, nature, and humanity.

When you contribute to the iSchool, you enable us to:

  • Kick-start careers: Your gifts help us to connect our students with leading organizations through practica and other experiential learning opportunities.
  • Support awards and scholarships: By contributing to the iSchool, you empower us to fund student awards and scholarships that break down financial barriers for outstanding scholars.

Your Investment Drives Possibilities

  • $75 can provide a textbook for a student for a semester.
  • $250 can cover the registration fee for a professional conference.
  • $1,000 can support a scholarship for a deserving iSchool student in need.

Seize the Day (of the Badger)!

Join us in preparing the next generation of information leaders by making your gift today.
