At the Mosse/Weinstein Center for Jewish Studies, we help students and community members to understand the intellectual and cultural values of Jews, their religious beliefs and practices, languages, literary creativity, and participation in the larger societies in which they live. Now more than ever, it is important to preserve this mission of instruction, scholarship, and open dialogue.
Gifts enable us to offer financial awards to support students who are pursuing coursework and research at the UW and abroad so that they can advance their studies while expanding their horizons. We also depend on gifts to help us provide a rich variety of lectures, films, and other events open to the public. In myriad ways, what we do at the Mosse/Weinstein Center for Jewish Studies ripples out into the larger world.
