The Lakeshore Nature Preserve is a living classroom laboratory that serves the teaching, research, and outreach mission of UW-Madison. It also serves as a haven for people on campus and in the community to explore nature. For generations, the Preserve has been a cherished spot for students, faculty, staff, and Madison residents to engage in outdoor activities such as hiking, bird watching, picnicking, or simply enjoying a peaceful place to relax. The Lakeshore Nature Preserve is an essential part of what makes UW-Madison such a special place to attend school and Madison such a unique place to live.

We believe everyone should have an opportunity to use and enjoy the Lakeshore Nature Preserve. To make this possible, we are asking for your help to raise $20,000 to purchase and facilitate mobility devices for visitors with limited mobility. Please join us in this effort to make the Lakeshore Nature Preserve accessible to everyone.
