Since combining the Departments of Urban and Regional Planning and Landscape Architecture into a new Department of Planning and Landscape Architecture (DPLA), we have focused on creating new opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate education. Bringing together the two disciplines makes both the program and its alumni better equipped to lead in a more complicated political, economic, social, and physical environment.
Our department has added curriculum annually and is growing rapidly. To remain successful and competitive, we rely on funding through gifts. Donors support student readiness to excel in their professional lives by providing travel to professional meetings and student research experiences.
