Why We Need Your Support

Pharmacy professions are more important to the future of our world than ever. Setting the next generation of pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, researchers, and other health professionals up for success is only possible thanks to the support of alumni and friends like you. Every dollar helps to ensure that students receive the resources needed for their education at our top 10 nationally ranked pharmacy school.

How Gifts Make a Difference

Your gifts continue the legacy of innovation set over the past 141 years of pharmacy education at UW–Madison. Gifts to the School of Pharmacy’s Student Success and Support Fund contribute to activities for students in all of our programs. Some recent uses include:

  • Preparing new pharmacists for practice with their first white coat
  • Recognizing important milestones for students, such as orientation and commencement, and events to build community
  • Providing registration and travel grants for students to attend professional training opportunities and present at national conferences
  • Funding the activities of student organizations where students develop leadership skills, build social networks, and perform community service
  • Executing our diversity action plan to prepare students to serve in a diverse world
  • Bringing in expert guest speakers to provide unique perspectives and build knowledge
