The Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey (WGNHS) is a state program that conducts natural resources surveys and research to produce information used for decision-making, problem-solving, planning, management, development, and education. WGNHS maps Wisconsin’s geology, mineral resources, and water resources, and shares its findings through publications, technical talks, and outreach. By donating to WGNHS, you are supporting the Wisconsin Idea of extending the university’s resources and expertise to every family and corner of the state. Your contribution will help WGNHS continue to serve Wisconsin for another 125 years.
