Why we need your support
RAIMEY-NOLAND DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION FUND - WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
The Raimey-Noland Campaign is named in honor of the University's first known male and female black graduates: William Smith Noland 1875 and Mabel Watson Raimey 1918. It was created to honor the pioneering courage of Badgers past and secure a thriving, inclusive future for UW. The campaign is made up of groundbreaking efforts across campus, in every school, college, and unit, all working toward the goal of creating a community where every Badger feels they belong.
The Raimey-Noland Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Fund invests widely in work that increases the diversity of the student body, recruits and retains a more diverse faculty, promotes academic success, increases graduation rates, builds an inclusive campus community, and invests in research that addresses social and racial justice.
Gifts to the Raimey-Noland Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Fund, which is part of the broader Raimey-Noland Campaign, support campus-wide efforts to promote a community of belonging at UW–Madison. Your gift will be a part of a campus-wide effort to recruit and support more students from historically underrepresented backgrounds, attract and retain diverse faculty and mentors, and support academic success and increased graduation rates.
