Why We Need Your Support

MATCHING GIFT AVAILABLE: Thanks to Robin C. Buerki and an anonymous donor, your gift will be tripled -- up to $5,000 -- during Day of the Badger.

Upham Woods Outdoor Learning Center provides environmental and leadership education to youth, youth leaders, and adults throughout the state.

Did you know?

  • Over 5,760 people last year benefitted from meaningful outdoor experiences at Upham Woods
  • Upham Woods works with over 50 local organizations connecting people to nature
  • Upham Woods has over 317 acres of forested land including a 210-acre State Natural Area

Your gift to Upham Woods will ensure we can continue to provide quality outdoor educational experiences connecting youth with nature. This year we are focusing on facility and grounds improvements that bring smiles to young faces! Our trails need continual work from replacing boardwalks to removing hazardous trees and your support would help keep kids safe.

You can help Upham Woods have an even bigger impact on Wisconsin and on future generations. Make a gift today!

From our match donor Robin C. Buerki:

“I'm making a matching funds challenge of $5,000 to support Upham Woods Outdoor Learning Center during Day of the Badger, March 28 – 29 because I've seen firsthand the excitement and curiosity of children and adults when they join programs or camping.

This year funds will be used for infrastructure and facilities to better accommodate visitors, a place to meet, mingle, share, laugh and learn.”

Thanks To Our Recent Donors!
